Darn You Overstock.com Emails...

...always pointing out good deals on things I didn't even know I wanted until now!

Lou Lou Womens Contemporary Tie-back Dress
Orange, white, and yellow
$39.99

The orange looks more like salmon to me, but I'd take this dress in every color!

Lou Lou Womens Contemporary Tie-back Dress
Blue, black, and brown
$25.99

I'm not sure why the second set of colors are cheaper (unless they have less stock), but I'd take the blue in a heartbeat! I need more blue in my wardrobe... especially at that price point!

As far as the reviews go, there is one really negative on the blue and one really positive on the orange set... so take your pick. The negative review on the blue talks it being about a cheap dress, which at $26, it clearly is. So it might be a gamble, because of Overstock.com's awkward no-return policy on this item ("Non-Returnable Item Policy: This item is not returnable unless the problem you experience is the result of our error."), which is what I think upset the shopper more than anything... and she's totally justified in that.

Back to the dresses though... how cute are they for summer? Put them with a cute pair of flip flops (I'm not a fan of platform or tall heels with short dresses) and you've got yourself a winning summer outfit!

Deal of the Week: Yellow Very Well COULD Be My Color

I have two yellow shirts that I love and I got freshly a little sunburned this weekend (resulting in what should be a good start to a tan by mid-week), so why not - right?

I wonder if I could have it before I leave for this weekend's Friday night wedding / weekend bachelorette party shenanigans (yes that's right... two different wedding-esque commitments in the same time period)? (Cora Boutique DOES ship out of Raleigh, after all!)

What do we think - yay or nay?

At $36.50, I'm thinking yay. Double yay, actually.

PS - I'd only consider this dress for double duty at the wedding AND bachelorette party if it hit at least right above my knee and I dressed up with a jacket or nice cami. I was more so thinking of this for bachelorette party fun times, exclusively.

I May Camp Out...

...to ensure I get my size (small) and colors of choice. I'm sure I've posted about these tanks before and I'm downright surprised I'm not wearing one right now.

SUCH a good deal, thanks to @ShopItToMe for sharing!

"Old Navy is offering $2 tanktops on this Saturday June 20th only! (Limit 5 per person) Apparently the $1 flip flops of the past must have been a hit, and they are moving on.

I can say that I own these too, and they are indeed the most versatile tops around. Can wear them to work out, sleep in, or with jeans or casual pants on the weekend, or even with a flouncy skirt.

A great steal!"

That's Some Funny Sunscreen

...but I totally respect its great cause!

Will Ferrell Launches Sunscreen Line
(via NYMag.com)

It's hard to know where to begin with this one. Other than, hooray, a celebrity has launched a beauty product we actually want to purchase (maybe as a Father's Day gift) this very instant?

Will Ferrell is launching a sunscreen line called Will Ferrell Sunscreen. The SPF 30s come in Sun Stroke, Sexy Hot Tan, and Forbidden Fruit. We're not sure of the differences between these, other than different tag lines on the bottles like "and the rich cream brought protection and comfort and it was good" (Forbidden Fruit).

Each bottle costs $12 and all proceeds benefit Cancer for College’s College Willpower Scholarship Fund, which grants college scholarships to cancer survivors and amputees.

Having supported the charity for a long time, Will explains why he decided to continue his efforts with sunscreen: “I’ve always dreamed of owning a lotion company. And I’ve always hated cancer.”

You can buy the lotion on the charity's website, or on eBay or Amazon.
You can buy all three bottles for $39.99 online.

The best part of that whole story? Will's reasoning: "I've always dreamed of owning a lotion company. And I've always hated cancer."

Me too Will, me too.

Ok, Maybe it's a Little Rednecky

Rednecky or not, I've always deep-down loved the summer look of destroyed denim against a nice tan. Although, I usually prefer it with flip flops or boots and a cute tank top, because it'd be really easy to go overboard wit this look. If your jeans are "destroyed", then the rest of your look shouldn't be.

Cora Boutique's blog post today is making me hate this cold rain we're getting drenched with here in NC even more so than normal...Current Inspiration: Destroyed Denim

Click through and check out the super cute white short shorts and more.
